Chris Dambrowitz, PhD
Chief Strategy Officer
Chris is founder and CEO of Actuo Consulting, a boutique strategic advisory & technical services firm serving industrial, institutional and nonprofit organizational clients. He is a strategic advisor to the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Engineering, and acts as an advisor and mentor for several ventures across Western Canada. Previously Chris served as AVP – Research and Innovation with the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) where he was instrumental in the development of NAIT’s Industry Solutions initiative – supporting industry clients through applied research facilities, advanced manufacturing labs, acceleration spaces, and corporate workforce training services. Prior to joining NAIT, Chris was Director of Strategic Initiatives with the Biorefining Conversion Network (BCN), an industrial-academic collaborative research network focused on novel bioproducts and bioprocesses addressing economically-important opportunities within Western Canada’s resource industries. He was the founding Program Director of the Alberta Prion Research Institute, and later served as Director of Planning and Development with the Alberta Research & Innovation Authority (ARIA) Secretariat. Chris brings technology development experience from his time in the bioanalytical and biotechnology industries with MDS Sciex (Concord ON), Blue Heron Biotechnology (Bothell WA), Visible Genetics (Toronto ON) and Atomic Energy of Canada Ltd (Chalk River ON). Chris has a PhD in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the University of Alberta.
Stephen Murgatroyd, PhD

Stephen has had a varied career, which included thirty years as an academic and academic administrator – Dean of Business (Athabasca), Vice President Academic (Canadian University of Dubai), Executive Director External Relations (Athabasca) and creator of the world’s first online MBA. He left academic life to run a large consulting operation in Europe (Lifeskills International) for Axia NetMedia and is now CEO of Collaborative Media Group, FutureThink Press and Skills4AllOurFuture Inc. A serial entrepreneur, Stephen has dedicated his life to making a difference through learning.
Stacey Ohlmann, MBA

Business Development, Stakeholder Relations, Project Management. Strong executive leadership professional with a MBA focused in Accounting and Finance from University of Alberta. A passionate, driven, resilient leader who drives results through effective engagement and relationship management. In addition to her role as Strategic Navigator for Skill24AllOurFuture Inc, Stacey is owner of a construction company and a health balance and nutrition coaching organization. She has significant experience of industry liaison and partnership work. She is a six sigma black belt and an effective and skilled project manager.
